Gospel artist Vincent Kadzakumanja has shared the inspiration behind his upcoming gospel single, Wandilephera, which is scheduled for release on August 2, 2026. In an exclusive interview with Nyimbo Yanga, the artist explains the powerful message behind the song and reveals his upcoming music projects.

Congratulations on your upcoming release. Tell us about Wandilephera.

Vincent Kadzakumanja:

Thank you. Wandilephera is my upcoming gospel single produced by Eddie Chagoma and myself under my record label, Mabvume Music Inc.

What message does the song carry?

Vincent Kadzakumanja:

The song encourages people to remain courageous even when they face persecution from people around them. Sometimes those who appear to be friends secretly work against us in schools, workplaces, families, and communities. Despite these challenges, we should never lose hope because God gives us the strength to overcome every obstacle.

Nyimbo Yanga:

What inspired you to write this song?

Vincent Kadzakumanja:

The inspiration comes from 1 John 4:4: “Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.” In Chichewa, we say, “Wamkulu ali mwa ife waposa ali kudziko.” The song reminds believers that God lives in us and gives us victory over every challenge.

What do you hope listeners will learn from Wandilephera?

Vincent Kadzakumanja:

I want people to understand that they should never give up, even when they experience betrayal, hatred, job loss, broken relationships, or other hardships caused by people around them. God has given His children the power to overcome. We were born to conquer no matter what we face.

When will the song be released, and where can fans listen to it?

Vincent Kadzakumanja:

Wandilephera will be officially released on August 2, 2026. After its release, fans will be able to stream and download the song on YouTube, TikTok, Spotify, Deezer, Mdindo, TNM CallerTunes, NyimboYanga.com, CDs, DVDs, and other leading digital music platforms in Malawi and internationally.

What can your fans expect next?

Vincent Kadzakumanja:

This year I have already released two songs, including Nenera, featuring Masintha Chitsitsimutso Women’s Choir. In September, I will release another gospel song featuring Lawrence Mbenjere. I am also preparing a 10-track gospel album, which is expected to be released in December 2026.
